Maternity Cover - April 2026 Start

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner of Girls Physical Education to cover a period of maternity leave, teaching PE across all ages and stages for 1 year from April 2026. You will be expected
to have a secure understanding of current pedagogy, recognising the importance of physical literacy in developing confidence, competence and inclusion of students of all abilities.

The PE department benefits from excellent facilities that help to provide a broad, balanced curriculum for all students. PE is taught in both mixed and single sex classes and pathways are available for students to explore a range of leadership qualifications in KS3 & 4, as well as GCSE, BTEC and A Level. Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School has a strong reputation for PE & school sport and commitment to our extensive extra curricular program is essential.
