For those students remaining in school during ALW, a comprehensive range of alternative learning experiences at low or zero cost will be available. Details of these will be published nearer to the time.
Residential Trips
Drama Theatre Trip
To immerse students in professional theatre and performance opportunities in the capital city
Berlin - Languages & History
To experience the history, culture and language of Germany's capital city.
Rhineland, Germany
To enable students to experience the language and culture of Germany.
Music Performance Tour, Italy
To host a series of concerts highlighting the skills of our students
Barcelona, Spanish Trip
To enable students to experience the language and culture of Spain and Catalunya.
Brompton Cookery School
To further develop students practical and presnation skills when working with food & functions of ingredients
PE Trip, France
To recieve quality coaching across a number of sports and experience French culture.
Non Residential Trips
Fishing
To develop fishing skills, take part in internal competition - 2 days
Work Experience Visits
To visit Year 10 students on work experience, liase with employers, improve worlk experience process for future years
Cricket
Two coaching days at HCCS OR Lanchashire Cricket Club (dependent on availablity)
