In a press conference earlier this evening, it was announced that the government has taken the decision to use Center Assessed Grades as the basis by which A level grades will be awarded. The announcement says that any grades published that are below the Center Assessed Grades will be amended so that they are in line with the grades provided by the college. We will make further information available later about the process by which grades will be changed but in the meantime, we intend to share all Center Assessed Grades with our year 13 students at 11 am tomorrow morning, Tuesday 18th August 2020. Results will be made available using Bromcom and can be accessed via the student portal in the same way that we made Mock exam scores available last week. Early indications suggest that 93 of the grades published by the exam boards, around 34% of the total awarded to our students last week, were below the grades we provided as Center Assessed Grades.
