During the past two weeks, we have been working with families who have travelled abroad recently or who are in close contact with people who have. The safety of students and staff is our priority and we continue to follow the best advice as the situation unfolds. Today, the advice for people returning from Italy is that they should self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of being symptom free.
As a school we will therefore insist from this point that anyone students returning from Italy, or who are in close contact with people returning from Italy, do not attend school for fourteen days. This is not dependent on having or not having symptoms. We would ask all parents and guardians to consider this advice if you are planning a trip with or without your children as we approach Easter.
