Severe Weather Warning

Over the next few days the weather in our area is expected to reach the highest temperatures of the year so far with bright sun and high pollen levels expected. It is not unusual in these circumstances for severe weather warnings to be declared.

In response to this, we are taking the following urgent actions:

  1. All students in all year groups should come to school in their PE uniform for the last four days of the school term. This isn’t an opportunity for students to wear anything they like and is restricted to school PE uniform items only.

  2. All students are asked to bring a refillable water bottle to school with them and keep them topped up at break and lunchtime.

  3. Students should use an appropriate sun cream and where needed, bring it to school with them so that they can reapply it during the day.

  4. Those students with hay fever or other allergic conditions, please ensure that they are up to date with their medication before they leave home.

  5. All of our Covid safe systems and behaviours remain in place

We can reassure all students, staff and parents that we will continue to do everything we can to keep our whole school community safe during the final few days of the school year.

If your child is unwell in any way, has been told they must self isolate or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, they must not come to school.

If you need to discuss any symptoms that your child or other household member may be experiencing please contact us on Nocv19@hccs.info and we will respond appropriately. We must all remain vigilant at all times and work together to keep our whole school community safe.
