Trial Exams Results & Interim Reports

As a school we pride ourselves on working alongside parents to keep you informed of the progress of your child.

We have a number of key dates coming up for year 11 and 13 students to report to you how they are getting along in their examination subjects.

Tuesday 10th March - Year 11 have a “Results Day”, where they will be given an envelope containing their grades from this week’s Trial Examinations. This is to get them used to the process, and be as near as possible to the real thing.

Year 13 will get their examination papers back from staff before the 10th March, so that they can start to act on all the feedback in class in order to get even better.

Wednesday 11th March - Year 11 and 13 will receive their third interim report. This will include progress and approach to learning in all their subjects, as well as report to you their grades from the February Trial examinations.

Thursday 12th March - Year 11 Parent Consultation Evening 2. We hold a second evening, primarily aimed at students who are falling short in their grades, so that we can discuss ways in which teachers, parents and students can work together in the next few weeks. This is a chance to share strategies and ideas that are proven to work, as well as outline what needs to be done. We are offering appointments a week early to students and parents who need these messages. Following this priority booking, we shall open the appointment system out to the rest of year 11 incase you wish to have further discussions with staff. Look out for the communications outlining this process
