Our aim is to stimulate students into an inquisitive approach to examine the world around them with confidence. We use a broad and balanced curriculum to develop knowledge of key scientific concepts, before looking to engage students with the real-life applications of subject matter. We aspire for students to have an appreciation and curiosity for science and be excited to study the subject at a greater depth.
Key scientific concepts include a mixture of subject knowledge, and the methods, processes skills and applications associated with it. In an ever-changing world, in which STEM subjects are at the forefront of advancements for the future, successful development of key concepts is directly attributable to students who can explain aspects of the world that surrounds them with clarity, passion and confidence. Such students will be best placed to influence the science of the future.
